The organic Greens tea has many positives and no negatives
November 15th, 2008
Organic green tea has all of the wonderful benefits of any green tea, but it does not have the negatives that might come from the harmful substances used to grow other green tea. The Chinese have long believed that green tea has wonderful medicinal properties, and the Japanese use green tea as part of one of their most important traditions, the Japanese tea ceremony. Medical researchers and scientists have more recently shown that green tea does have wonderful substances that promote the health of those that consume green tea on a regular basis. Other scientists have shown that crops grown with harmful pesticides and fertilizers maintain these substances after harvesting. Green tea grown organically retains the benefits and eliminates the negatives of other green tea products.
Organic green tea retains all of the beneficial substances of ordinary green tea. Studies have shown that green tea grown organically has antioxidants, polyphenols and catechins which prevent the onset of serious diseases suffered by those who do not drink green tea. These studies show that organic green tea will prevent some types of cancer including esophageal and colon cancer. Organic green tea also has these substances which prevent the onset of painful rheumatoid arthritis.
Organic Green Tea Is Grown To Promote Health
Abundant crops have long been the goal of farmers, and many farmers used the nutrients, fertilizers and pesticides that help them grow the largest field of crops possible. Then there were many studies that showed that these artificial nutrients, fertilizers and pesticides helped to grow great crops, but these substances remained on the crops and harmed those who consumed these crops. Organic green tea along with many other crops is grown using natural, organic nutrients, fertilizers and pesticides. The result has improved the quality of the food consumed by the people.
Organic green tea is grown without using any harmful, artificial substances. Green tea grown organically is also processed with natural methods after it is harvested from the fields. After the tea leaves are harvested, they must be dried. Organic green tea is dried using innovative techniques so the leaves will not ferment as they dry. Organic green tea should not be stored for more than a day after it is harvested to avoid negative effects of fermentation. Organic green tea is grown on plantations that are certified to use appropriate, organic methods in planting, fertilizing and maintaining the plants. Organic green tea should be clearly marked for consumers so they know about the quality of the green tea purchased in any store.
Koriander seed
November 15th, 2008
Coriander seed is derived from an annual herb known as Coriandrum sativum and it is actually the typical term that is used to refer to the tiny ribbed brown fruit of this herb. For many centuries, the bright and delicate green leaves of this herb are applied as a form of culinary herb, hence coriander seed is also known as cilantro or Chinese parsley.
The coriander seed is basically indigenous to the Mediterranean Europe and West Africa. Now, it is widely cultivated in many countries especially those with temperate climates. In the ancient times and till now, the coriander seed is commonly applied as a flavoring especially to a variety of commercial foods, specifically frozen dairy desserts, beverages, puddings, and candies. And it is reported that the pleasing aromatic oil of the coriander seed is a typical ingredient applied in lotions, perfumes, as well as in creams.
But coriander seed is more than just a flavoring and a spice used in cooking. It has several medicinal benefits and it greatly promotes natural healing. Historically, in the ancient Greece, later in Great Britain, Rome, China, and India, the coriander seed is greatly used by some healers. It is particularly applied in traditional medicine for treating gastrointestinal disorders.
The coriander seed is also used in the traditional healing practice in India known as Ayurvedic medicine as it is mixed with the cardamom seed and caraway. In fact, some of the traditional European healers and herbalists prepared it along with caraway, fennel, and anise seeds.
The coriander's oil which usually taken from the coriander seed has also been applied through the ages. The Egyptians particularly believed that it gives immorality and it was essential for enhancing a man's sperm count. However, the coriander seed is now applied by the modern herbalists to treat stomachaches as well as to enhance the digestion. The coriander seed is also used in the recent times for the purpose of reducing stress for the people to be able to express their thoughts.
There are also some reports which noted that the coriander seed's oil, as it contains geranial, vitamin C, linalool, and potassium, greatly helps in the proper functioning of the digestive system, and circulatory system. It is also good for the skin condition. Even those who have migraine headaches used this herb in a form of tea a couple of times every day for the reason that this herb has the potential for relieving the pain.
But even though there has a long story of the coriander seed's folk applications and functions, still no exact research has been conducted to provide some concrete proofs for its effects in humans. But still many of the laboratory and animal studies along with the anecdotal evidence suggest that it has some effects as a mild digestive aid as it provides relief to flatulence, soothes upset stomach, and revive appetite. In addition, coriander seed has some properties for fighting fungal and bacterial infections, and it is reported to be diuretic.
Today, due to its multiple anecdotal and laboratory-based benefits to humans and its being rich in vitamins and minerals, the coriander seed now comes in the form of oil, liquid, fresh herb, dried herb or tea. The coriander seed is largely made available in the different health food stores.
Aromatherapy of herbs

Herbal Remedies Used In Aromatherapy
By Evelyn Lim
Aromatherapy involves the use of aromatic herbal remedies for physical, emotional, and mental healing. Herbal remedies in the form of essential oils from herbs are distilled to produce soothing, healing aromas.

Photo: ibspro.net
The essential oils used in aromatherapy are usually volatile. This means that the molecules in these herbal remedies evaporate quickly into the air. Every time when you inhale the aroma of an essential oil, the unique components mix and react with the olfactory membranes in your nose, which are directly connected to your brain. Of course, your brain plays a very important part in how your mind, emotions and entire body are regulated.
You may then think that aromatherapy is just the practice of sniffing different essential oils. However, that is not all that you can do with these oils. Most of these herbal remedies can also be applied onto your skin. When this is done often enough, it becomes doubly effective. This is because the essential oil is being absorbed directly into your bloodstream as well.
The cost of these essential oils can vary quite a lot. Prices vary depending on their availability and the methods that have to be used in order to procure and produce them. For instance 1 ounce of pure lavender oil can be procured for $5 because this is a fairly common plant and easily harvestable. Conversely, you may pay $250 for half an ounce of rose oil.
You are also going to need to purchase a diffuser in order to properly use these herbal remedies. This is a special device that is used to disperse the essential oils into the air. These are usually very inexpensive and, in most cases, an atomizer will work fine. There are also special aromatherapy pottery rings available that fit over the top of a light bulb and are relatively inexpensive as well.
The herbal remedies used in aromatherapy can be used to treat various health ailments. They can help to alleviate symptoms such as stress, depression, digestive problems, skin problems, hormone imbalances and respiratory problems. Most essential oils are quite potent; hence you would need to follow the instructions found on the label strictly. If you are pregnant or have some major illness or disease, you should also check with your doctor on the use of aromatherapy.
Finally, you should note that the one thing that you should not do is to apply essential oils directly to your skin without first diluting it. You also need to ensure that your skin is not sensitive to the herbal remedies that are being used.

Successful Hypnose
November 15th, 2008
Although everyone can be hypnotized, you want to do everything possible to make your experience as successful as possible. Therefore, we wanted to provide you with some valuable tips for making this happen. First, you want to make sure you are being hypnotized in a quiet location. The area should be void of people, animals, telephones, and doorbells, literally everything that could disrupt the session. The more relaxed and quiet the environment the better.
Next, the hypnotherapist or hypnotist should conduct the hypnosis in a positive manner. The goal here is that questions should be in the form of affirmation and be designed for the least amount of resistance. As an example, if you are trying to lose weight, then the questions should not be about food such as, "I don't like donuts" or "I need to stay away from spaghetti". Instead, the questions should be more in the form of, "Why am I so lucky to be losing weight" or "How many new outfits will I be able to buy when the weight comes off?"
Successful hypnosis also means reciting the things that you hope to accomplish. Remember, the hypnotherapist or hypnotist will be working with your subconscious mind so the positive side of what you want must be suggested repeatedly. Again, if your goal is to lose weight, then you want to recite that you want to lose weight with things such as "I am will continue to walk every day", "I will be careful about the foods I put in my mouth", or "I will feel so good when the weight is gone."
While in the state of hypnosis you want to be sure you breath deeply and slowly. Then, envision yourself walking on the beach toward the water. The cool water's edge is just 20 steps away so you begin to county silently backwards, mentally watching yourself getting closer and closer to the water. As you begin to near the water, you are allowing your mind to relax so that the suggestions made by the hypnotherapist or hypnotist will be received. The more your mind accepts suggestions the more change can occur.
Occasionally, a person being hypnotized will find it difficult to reach deep relaxation, which is crucial to success. To help, you might have soft, soothing music playing in the background, something like Yanni or Enya. With headphones, you can allow the mind to wander, going deeper and deeper into a relaxed state. Just remember that while listening to music, you also need to hear what the professional is saying so the music will need to be soft. While this might require a little bit of patience and practice, it is actually very beneficial.
In addition to setting the environment for sound, you also want to make sure the environment is comfortable and tidy. Again, you want to avoid any type of distraction. You almost want the room to be like your private sanctuary where you can feel a sense of calm and tranquility. If you like, you can light some scented candles or burn incense. In addition, overstuffed pillows, soft throw blankets, and loose comfortable clothing will help you relax, one of the key goals in hypnosis being successful.
If you plan to use self-hypnosis, you would need to do the same thing. Bring yourself to a quiet place so you can become relaxed. Then, you want to instill positive suggestions in the mind through induction. Just make sure you do not feed the mind with negative things but positive statements. Again, focus on things like exercise, feeling good, being healthy, and wearing new clothes in the area of weight loss. Even after being hypnotized, you can continue telling your conscious mind these things so they become a part of your daily life.
Without doubt, ridding your mind with daily worries is hard but crucial to success. After all, most people work, have kids, and therefore, live and deal with daily crisis, some small and some large. Keep in mind that in addition to pushing these thoughts out of the mind so that hypnosis can help you accomplish your goal, hypnosis can also help you cope with these daily issues. Through the relaxation methods, you will begin to notice that you lose weight, stop smoking, gain confidence, or whatever the case may be but you also begin to find yourself relaxing, which allows you to handle life's crises.
This state of consciousness allows you to enter and leave naturally. You are not put into a trance whereby you do or say things you would not normally do. Hypnosis is real and it works. However, for hypnosis to work successfully, you must work with a qualified professional or understand how to perform self-hypnosis.
Herb and Alchemical support for Yoga, Qigong and Meditation practice
November 15th, 2008
Each of us is unique in what we need to maintain and strengthen our physical, mental and emotional health. For this reason, it is wonderful and very often requires a qualified individual with medicinal herbs - a practitioner of Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, Tibetan medicine and Western herbalism. This is especially true when we have a special physical, mental or emotional imbalance that we are in search of relief. A cure is in a position to professionally assess our condition, and then create a herbal formula specifically designed for us.
Therapeutic & vitality enhancement of the use of the Herbal Formulas
herbal and alchemical formulas can be powerful allies for converting an unbalanced, dis-eased into a bodymind that once the operation is in a balanced and convenient way. They can also be used to our health: increasing our clarity and vitality to us to the next stage of joyful and radiant wellbeing. Practitioners of yoga, meditation and Qigong often have an interest in the use of herbs in this way, to support the creation of an increasingly strong and clear physical “temple”, then a deepening and broadening our spiritual practice.
The herbs and alchemical substances in this manner - such as physical, mental, emotional and spiritual tonic - often have an adaptogenic character. An adaptogenic is a substance that a normalization of the impact on the physical processes. In other words, it has an intelligence that has to act in a way that is appropriate to the person consuming it. There are, for example, herbs, the adaptogenic in relation to immune function: they can boost a weak immune system, or suppress an active immune system - depending on what is required.
herbs and alchemical substances, which in this manner, “know what to do” can be of great benefit for a variety of people. While it is still better to consult individually with a medicinal plants - if it is an option for you - it is not absolutely necessary, with tonic formulas like these, as the herbs themselves are capable of their actions according to the needs of the person who they use. (How cool is that!)
Medicine Buddha blessings for yoga, meditation and Qigong
In my twenty-five years of yoga, meditation and Qigong practice - as well as in connection with the Training to practice Chinese medicine - I have experimented with a large number of herbal tonics and alchemical, as support for my practice. Of these, the following three are the ones I’ve found to be particularly powerful and would recommend wholeheartedly to any desire to support, strengthen and deepen their yoga, Qigong or meditation practice.
For me, these substances feel how deeply generous gifts from our friends in the plant and mineral kingdoms - infused with the blessings of Lu Dongbin (the Daoist Immortal, who is also patron of Inner Alchemy), Saint-Germain (who ascended master known as a master alchemist) and the Medicine Buddha. So I ask you to learn more about them, and - if your intuition says “Yes” - in the enjoyment of strong support they have to offer.
Tonic gold www.tonicgold.com
Created by the hermetic alchemist Petri Muri, gold Tonic contains the Universal Life Force in the form of drinking gold . In other words, it is like a small bottle of spiritual sunshine! With regard to their impact on the subtle body, nothing comes close, in my experience, to Tonic gold. The very first time I have only a few drops in water, it was a very vigorous expansion in my solar plexus. Since that time, what I have noticed that most - if I Gold Tonic regularly - is a warm feeling running along the Shushumna Nadi (the core of our subtle /yogic body). My Mood tends to shift in the direction of the lightness and joy, and my body enjoys a new flexibility and spaciousness. Gorgeously!
Tonic gold comes in a small bottle, the last one to three months, depending on your dosage. It has a Anis /orange flavor, very pleasant, and its proven benefits are manifold. Petri recommends them on a continuous, though not continuously, for example, take it for six months, then one or two months, then take it for another six months, etc. The alchemical tradition within which Tonic gold produced is big and profound - and Petri himself, from what I can say is a true adept in the art and science. I encourage you to more about both this particular alchemy and alchemist, on the website Tonic gold.

New Herbal Remedy Favorites and Dandelion
By Byron Branfield
Dandelion is considered to be one of the newest additions to the herbal repertoire. Historians have noted that there is no mention of the dandelion plant in Western history until its first appearance in the Ortus Sanitatis of 1485. In traditional Chinese medicine, dandelion was also not mentioned until later times. The dandelion did not become a popular Chinese herbal plant until the 7the century. The name of the dandelion has always invoked curiosity. How did this herb get its funny name? The story goes that the dandelion got its name from a surgeon in the 15th century, who thought that the shape of the dandelion leaves resembled a lion’s teeth.

Dandelion is also interesting because it is used differently in different parts of the world. In the West, for instance, it is customary to separate the leaves and the root of the tree. However, in traditional Chinese medicine, it is customary to keep the plant intact when preparing herbal remedies.
The taste of dandelion has been described as cool, sweet, and sometimes bitter. The leaves are known to contain bitter glycosides, vitamins A, B, C, D, several minerals, including salt, iron, and potassium. The leaves of the dandelion plant also contain carotenoids, terpenoids, choline, and potassium salts. The root of the dandelion plant contains tannins, volatile oils, triterpenes, sterols, bitter glycosides, asparagus, and inulin. The leaves of the dandelion plant are thought to be diuretic in nature. They are also believed to have the ability to treat liver problems, and to serve as a strong digestive tonic. The root of the dandelion plant is also used. The root is mostly thought of as a liver tonic, antirheumatic, and diuretic. It is also believed to promote the flow of bile.
The root of the dandelion plant is also often used. It is a favorite liver stimulant of traditional herbalists. The root is often used as a gentle, nourishing cleansing tonic. Magnetic therapy and the role of the therapist
November 15th, 2008
With growing number of new disorders, people are searching new therapies to treat themselves. But we are lacking in number of therapist accordingly to treat new disorder. Hence over the counter medicine taking population has increased significantly. But some times self-therapy reacts negatively and an individual faces new troubles. Hence it is very much important to take care while you treat yourself. And one should not bother while he gets treated with any unnatural and natural therapy. Though natural therapy doesn't have any side effects, precautions must be taken so that the healing time gets reduced.
Today among the new therapies people are giving more preference to magnetic therapy. Because, magnetic therapy has proved very successful to cure some common disorders. Some of them are migraine, arthritis, spondylosis, insomnia, sciatica etc. Magnetic therapy is widely used by many to get relief from their pains. But thing is that every therapy is more effective when taken under proper guidance. And this is much true about magnetic therapy. Because, the one who need a therapy should use magnets as per the instructions given by the therapist. Since it is easy to use therapy, you can take the treatment at your home also. Although you don't need any assistance but his suggestion will help you to make feel secure.
From here the actual role of therapist starts. Like other therapist he/she can also work either from own dispensary or can directly go to the patients house. When a therapist meets first time to a patients, the detail history has significant important.
